ROLY Founded in 1997, ROLY is a high-tech brand dedicated to the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of projection display solutions.
From the very beginning, ROLY has approached projectors from the fundamentals—seeking to understand not only how they work, but why they matter. With this belief at our core, our market and sales teams have spent over two decades studying light sources, optical technologies, competing brands, market feedback, and the challenges facing the industry.
As optical technologies matured and breakthroughs in light-source lifespan were achieved, ROLY chose to unite its accumulated expertise and technical know-how to move forward. This commitment led us to the in-house development and production of a new generation of projectors, designed to deliver a truly focused and enduring audiovisual experience.

1997ROLY Brand Patent Officially Filed
The official filing of ROLY’s brand patent marks a new milestone for Taiwan’s projector industry. By partnering with local Taiwanese manufacturing, we focus on precision, performance, and craftsmanship—creating projectors that represent Taiwan’s creativity, quality, and innovation.
ROLY is committed to redefining the value of “Made in Taiwan” and becoming a growing force in the global projection market.
2000Appointed as a Designated Supplier under the Bank of Taiwan Contract
ROLY has been appointed as a designated supplier under the Bank of Taiwan Joint Supply Contract, providing trusted projection solutions for government and institutional use.
2013Secured 3LCD Technology License
In 2013, ROLY reached a key agreement with Mitsubishi Electric (Japan) and acquired the intellectual property rights for its 3LCD engineering projector technology, along with related tooling and inspection standards. This milestone strengthened ROLY’s ability to control product quality and deliver stable, high-performance projection solutions worldwide.
2015ROLY Entered the Mainland China Market
In 2015, ROLY officially expanded into the Mainland China market, marking a major step in our global growth. With high-quality projectors, advanced technology, and innovative design, we deliver smarter and more efficient visual solutions across business, education, home, and office applications.
2017Transformation
With the rapid rise of the laser projector market, ROLY seized the opportunity and successfully transitioned from OEM manufacturing to independent product development. By building a dedicated R&D team and investing in core technologies and innovative design, we began developing our own ROLY laser projectors—delivering advanced performance and an enhanced visual experience for users worldwide.
2018World’s First Fully Sealed 3LCD Laser Projector
In 2018, ROLY achieved a major breakthrough by developing the world’s first laser projector featuring a fully sealed 3LCD optical engine. This innovative design significantly improves stability, durability, and lifespan while enhancing light efficiency and image detail—setting a new standard for long-lasting, high-performance projection.
